The Memusi Foundation has helped over 30 million children go to school and gain an education in Africa which is wonderful to think about. Many children in the UK can take for granted going to school, learning new things, school trips and the pastoral care they receive. The children in Africa feel privileged to be helped to gain an education and to be able to aspire to achieve new goals people in their families may only have dreamt about. It gives them the foundations to go onto help others that are/were in the same situation as they were. Also as we all know this continent is a million miles away from life in the UK with more poverty & crime, school gives them a break from this and allows them to relax and be normal happy children even for a few hours a day. Shouldn’t every child deserve this?
Every little helps to send a child to school!
