SOPHIE Wright had always wanted to be a model ever since she took part in her first photoshoot.
Now, just a few steps away from becoming Miss England, she is finally nearly there but her journey in getting here has not been an easy one.
As she so openly admits: "Next month I will be taking part in Miss Black Country 2016, a direct heat to the Miss England finals, however my journey to get there hasn't been so straight forward."
It all started two years ago when the 24-year-old, from Willenhall, was diagnosed with anorexia.
"I was depressed," she admitted.
"My family were so desperate to get me eating that they tried scare tactics telling me how my organs would fail if I didn't improve. It was scary when I was taken to hospital. Different doctors were telling me different things."
